Tuscarora’s mission is to serve the Christian community by providing programs and facilities for worship, teaching, counseling, and physical refreshment, focusing on the Bible as our standard for living.
The vision here at Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center is to maintain and develop facilities that meet the expectations of our constituents, incorporating a quality of programs, facilities, and personnel that will continue the tradition of excellence in all that we do.
We believe that:
The Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God. It is the final authoritative guide for faith and life.
There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God the Father has revealed Himself as Creator and Ruler of all things. Jesus Christ, the Divine Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit, lived and died for our Salvation, rose to conquer death, and will return in power and glory. The Holy Spirit calls, regenerates, guides, and empowers the church.
Mankind was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is in need of new birth through faith in Jesus Christ.
The church of Jesus Christ is composed of all who have faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. We are a ministry to the whole body of Christ.
Nestled in the quiet foothills of the Pocono Mountains of Eastern Pennsylvania, we provide a unique setting for a time of refreshment away from the noise of day to day life. The 37 acres are located along the Delaware River bordered by New Jersey. Our campus creates year-round opportunities for families to reconnect and be encouraged in their faith through inspiring programs. Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center is available to Christian families and groups who either wish to join our Christ-centered programs or plan a retreat / conference of their own.
Tuscarora offers a variety of programs per year that individuals can participate in, including: Women’s Retreats, Couples Retreat, Mother-Daughter Retreat, Men’s Retreat, Jr. Week, Teen Week, Leisure Weeks, Spring & Fall Midweek Retreats, Christmas Weekend, and Singles’ Retreat. Renowned Bible speakers and popular Christian music artists are invited to share their stories and spread the gospel during the year- round programs provided.
With a helpful and service-oriented staff, Tuscarora wishes to bless the Christian Community by making each stay with us enjoyable and without distraction. We hope to provide a distraction-free environment for your church group or para-church organization at any time of the year using our flexible and accommodating Conference Center. Intimate meeting rooms for Bible Studies and prayer times, quiet conference rooms for teaching, and a large auditorium for worship are available to guests during their stay.
One of the many desires of Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center is to bring family and friends closer to each other and to Christ during their stay on campus. Our dining room is a center point for the campus as we serve three hot meals a day, family style. This is an important tradition to us as a Christian conference center, to offer a delicious meal served to your table.
Nature surrounds our campus giving it beauty and an easy place to feel the presence of God. The outdoor recreation gives groups, young and young at heart, a place to play, explore, and enjoy the glory of creation. Direct access to the river, attractive lawns, and a quiet garden are all special qualities of Tuscarora.
