With a rich tradition of service and excellence, the ministry of Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center has grown over the past four decades and includes year round programming.
Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center has been welcoming individuals and families for reconnection, recreation, and relaxation since 1972. As a Christian Conference Center, we are host to several thousand individuals and families each year who come for the opportunity to spend a weekend or summer vacation strengthening their faith and relationships amidst our accommodating and scenic campus. Our staff plans events that appeal to everyone - including both indoor and outdoor activities, and age specific programming for youth, individuals, couples, and families.

Situated on 37 acres along the Delaware River and just a few miles south of the Pocono Mountains and the Delaware Water Gap National Park, Tuscarora’s facilities include 145 hotel-style, cottage and dormitory guest rooms, multiple state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a large dining facility, gymnasium, tennis and basketball courts, competition size beach volleyball court, soccer and softball fields, seasonal river activities and three pools (large swimming , diving, and wading), book, gift, and snack shops, and game and exercise rooms.
During the months of June, July, and August, more than 4,000 adults, youth, and families participate in one of our programs or a church / organization event. The exciting youth camps provide unforgettable experiences for youth ages 8-17 years old that strengthen their Christian faith and include group sports, adventure recreation, creative activities, and leadership training. Several weeks of summer family camp create opportunities for families to reconnect and be encouraged in their faith through inspiring speakers, renowned concert artists, midweek carnivals, competitions and games, tubing and canoe trips, hikes, creative activities, and exercise classes.

We have been encouraged and sensed the presence of God amidst the bible teaching, entertainment, and beautiful setting. Now in my eighties, spending focused time with my family has been Tuscarora’s greatest gift to me.”
Tuscarora is grateful for the volunteers that give of their time throughout the year. Their dedication and tireless commitment provide 26,000 hours of service annually. In addition to the gift of time, our supporters give generously to expand and enhance our facilities. One important way they help is sending kids to camp. Because they give, each year more than $10,000 in scholarships is provided to help those in need join us for youth summer camp.
Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center is owned by the Lutheran Brethren Conference Center, Inc (LBCC). The LBCC was founded in 1971 with the purpose of establishing a retreat center for the eastern district Lutheran Brethren Churches. With a rich tradition of service and excellence, the ministry of Tuscarora Inn & Conference Center has grown over the past four decades and includes year round programming.
Tuscarora’s mission is to serve the Christian community by providing programs and facilities for worship, teaching, counseling, and physical refreshment, focusing on the Bible as our standard for living.
