THEME: KINGDOM MINDED

The way Jesus taught was radically different from what people in His day were used to. Instead of lofty speeches or complex religious rules, He told stories—simple, powerful parables that revealed the heart of a kingdom unlike any other.

In Matthew 13, Jesus shares several of these parables to help His followers understand what the kingdom of God is really like. Through them, He answers questions that still shape our faith today:

Will people believe the good news?
In a world that often feels hostile to faith, will this message last?
What does God think of me?
And what hope do we have for the future?

Throughout the weekend, we’ll walk through these parables together and learn what it means to live kingdom minded—to see the world through God’s perspective, let His truth shape our daily choices, and carry His message of hope into our homes, schools, neighborhoods, and workplaces.

Come ready to listen, learn, and be transformed as we discover what it means to receive and represent the Kingdom of God right where we are.

  • If you’re registering as an individual — even if you’re coming with a few friends and want to room together — please use the registration form linked above.

    If you’re a pastor or ministry leader bringing your Young Adults Ministry or a larger group from your church, our Groups Ministry Team would love to help! Contact us at (570) 897-6000 or group@tuscarora.org

  • The Young Adults Retreat costs $180 per person. To keep things simple (and affordable), accommodations are assigned based on the size of your group — just like at our youth camps. This helps us make sure everyone has the right space for a great retreat experience.

    If you’d like to guarantee a specific accommodation type, our registrars are happy to help! Call us at (570) 897-6000, and we can confirm that option for you at an adjusted rate.

  • A $50 deposit holds your spot. Deposits are non-refundable. The full balance is due one month before the retreat begins.

  • Yes! All meals from Friday dinner through Sunday lunch are included in your registration.

  • To keep things simple (and affordable), accommodations are assigned based on the size of your group — just like at our youth camps. This helps us make sure everyone has the right space for a great retreat experience.

  • We hope you won’t need to cancel, but we understand that plans can change. Cancellations made up to two weeks before the retreat will receive a refund, minus the non-refundable deposit. Unfortunately, cancellations made within two weeks of the event are not refundable, as preparations for your stay will already be in place.

  • December 2 - one month before the retreat.

  • Not at all! Many young adults register on their own, and we make it easy to connect with others once you’re here. If you do want to bring a group from your church, we have group registration options too - just contact our Groups Ministry Department by calling (570) 897-6000 or email group@tuscarora.org

  • We love that you’re interested! This retreat is designed specifically for young adults ages 18–30 who are out of high school. If you’re under 18 or still in high school, we encourage you to check out our youth camps. If you’re over 30, you may find one of our other retreats a better fit — and we’d be happy to help you find one!

  • This retreat is specifically for those who have already graduated high school. We recommend joining us for one of our summer youth camps until you reach young adult age.

  • Bring casual clothes, a Bible, a notebook, and anything you’d want for winter fun (warm layers, boots, etc.). If you need any additional items we will contact you before the event!

  • We’re finalizing the details now! Sign up for email updates, and you’ll be the first to hear when we announce our speaker, worship team, and activities.

  • Yes! While we’ll gather for sessions and activities, we’ve also built in downtime so you can relax, hang out with friends, or enjoy the campus.

  • We are happy to accommodate any special dietary needs you have! Please fill out a Special Diet Request Form at least a week prior to your arrival.
