Renew and Restore Retreat

Four days designed to help Pastors and spouses experience gospel-centered rest, renewal, encouragement, and practical soul care.

Why Attend the Renew & Restore Retreat?

Ministry is one of the greatest privileges God gives, but it also carries unique burdens that are difficult for others to fully understand. The constant demands of shepherding, caring for others, making difficult decisions, and carrying the weight of leadership can leave even the healthiest pastors spiritually, emotionally, and physically weary.

The Renew & Restore Retreat was created to provide ministry leaders and their spouses with an intentional opportunity to step away from the demands of ministry and be refreshed. For four days and three nights, you'll walk the Shepherd's Path in a peaceful setting where you can rest, reconnect with the Lord, strengthen your marriage, and receive care from people who understand the realities of pastoral ministry.

Unlike many conferences that focus primarily on ministry skills, this retreat is designed to care for the shepherd. Together, our retreat team brings decades of experience in pastoral ministry, biblical counseling, leadership coaching, and soul care for pastors and ministry leaders.

Dr. James C. Meyer has served as a pastor for more than 40 years, currently co-pastoring Pocono Evangelical Free Church with his son. As Director of Biblical Counseling Resources and a longtime counseling professor at Cairn University, he has spent decades mentoring and counseling pastors.

Rev. Adam Crain, Founder and Executive Director of Shepherding Care, served in local church ministry for more than two decades before launching a ministry devoted to providing Gospel-centered renewal and restoration for weary pastors and ministry leaders. Adam is a pastor, speaker, and biblical counselor who is passionate about helping shepherds finish their ministry well.

Fred Jacoby is a Christian counselor, coach, speaker, and Counseling Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church. As Founder of Foundations Christian Counseling and co-founder of Intimate Connection Ministries with his wife, Andrea, Fred has devoted his ministry to helping individuals, couples, and pastors experience biblical hope, relational health, and lasting transformation.
