God at Work at Tuscarora

There are moments throughout the year when it's good to pause and simply thank God for His faithfulness.

As summer gets underway and our campus is filled with campers, families, volunteers, and staff, we've been reflecting on the many ways God has been at work throughout the past several months.

From meaningful retreats and completed campus improvements to the graduation of another Rooted class and the generosity of those who supported this year's Golf Classic, we've seen God's faithfulness in countless ways this spring

A Spring Filled with Ministry

Spring at Tuscarora was filled with opportunities for people of every generation to step away from the routines of everyday life and grow in their faith. Couples, mothers and daughters, retirees, and many others gathered for retreats full of worship, biblical teaching, meaningful conversations, and Christian community.

Every gathering served as another reminder that God continues to meet people when they seek Him. We are grateful for the many lives encouraged, friendships strengthened, and faith renewed throughout the spring season.

Ten Renovated Cottages Ready for Ministry

This spring marked the completion of our ten-cottage renovation project - a milestone made possible through the generosity of faithful supporters and the dedicated efforts of volunteers who worked to prepare these spaces for another busy summer season.

While new flooring, furnishings, and finishes make the cottages more welcoming, the true value of this project won't be measured by the renovations themselves. It will be measured in the families who reconnect, the church groups who share meaningful conversations, the campers who build lifelong friendships, and the countless lives God will touch within these walls for years to come.

To everyone who gave, served, prayed, and encouraged this project along the way - thank you. Your investment will continue to impact lives for generations to come.

Celebrating Rooted

This spring we celebrated the graduation of Rooted's second class, recognizing another group of young adults equipped to serve Christ and His Church wherever He leads.

As these graduates begin the next chapter of their journey, we're encouraged to see God continuing to raise up faithful leaders.

Just weeks later, supporters from across the country rallied around Rooted during the Week of Impact campaign. Through the generosity of 101 donors, a $30,000 matching gift was fully unlocked, along with an additional $10,000 challenge gift for reaching our donor goal. Together, God provided $70,224 to strengthen the future of Rooted and invest in the next generation of Christian leaders.

With our largest class yet preparing to begin this fall, we're grateful for God's continued faithfulness and excited to see how He will work in the lives of another group of young adults in the year ahead.

A Great Day on the Course

Our 8th Annual Tuscarora Golf Classic brought together golfers, volunteers, churches, and businesses for another wonderful day of fellowship, generosity, and partnership in ministry for our biggest event yet!

Together, the Golf Classic helps make camp possible for children and teenagers who might not otherwise have the opportunity to attend. Every foursome, every sponsor, and every volunteer helps create opportunities for young people to hear God's Word, build lasting friendships, and experience the love of Christ.

Looking Ahead

While we've enjoyed reflecting on God's faithfulness over the past several months, the ministry continues. Throughout the rest of the summer and into the fall, we will welcome campers, families, churches, retreat guests, and volunteers for their own experiences of retreat.

Whether someone is attending camp for the very first time, reconnecting with family during a retreat, or simply stepping away from the hecticness of life to spend time with the Lord, we pray that every guest who comes to Tuscarora will leave encouraged in their faith and reminded of God's love and faithfulness.
